This blog is a collection of musings about creativity, writing and improv, as per the outpourings of the brain of Rob Egginton. The latter is a writer when he’s not a web-designer or a researcher into Machine Learning, or a knowledge worker or an improviser, or a trainer, a creative consultant, a graphic designer or sometimes just asleep.

Rob Egginton — Robert to his family, Getoutoftheway to people he gets in the way of — studied computer science for ten years at Bristol University, emerging with a PhD in Machine Learning. Which meant of course that much of his time is now taken up with unrelated activities such as creative writing. Because up until recently, it couldn’t be. So now it is.

And there you have it. You’d have thought that someone into writing would write a more complete life history, but you’d be wrong.
